About The Launch Factory

The Launch Factory is not your average co-working space. We aim to enhance productivity and inspire creative thinking by bringing like-minded people together under one roof.  Whether you are a freelancer, already own a business, have a team of people needing a space to work, are working on a startup, or need a space to work outside of the hustle and bustle of a busy corporate office—we have the space for you!

The Launch Factory is located in the General Dyestuff building which was constructed in 1939 by General Dyestuff Corporation to support the textile industry. The building sits on a portion of the old WW I Camp Greene site (1917 – 1919) in close proximity to the Historic Dowd House. The building was converted in 2008 to professional office condominiums and renamed The Dyestuff Commercial Lofts.
Through a seven-million-dollar redevelopment effort, the brick, concrete and steel building and its façade has largely been preserved intact, including the two loading docks and the old freight elevator which now serve as building entrances. The Launch Factory occupies 11k sq. ft. on two floors in the Dyestuff building.  Much of it's aesthetic history has been left intact and contributes to the feng shui of our space.
